Dressed up in masks like those from V for Vendetta a bunch of Scientology critics surrounded the Toronto headquarters of L. Ron Hubbard's religion yesterday. This seems to have been built off of the video warning issued on YouTube a while ago:

The Torontoist article I link to above mentions that Tom Cruise was deliberately kept from public eye.

Local Boy Makes Good

Yes, that's right, Torontoist has an article on the attention that Toronto's Colin Munroe is garnering for his cover of a Kanye West song. Here's the video, shot in Dundas Square:

On a personal level, this is cool as Colin is a friend of a friend and hence I've had drinks with him on a few occasions. Well done, Colin!

Torontoist has a great example today. I should note that "the south side of Queen at Ossington" is pretty much the front entrance to the Queen St. Mental Health Centre.

Torontoist sums up how I feel about The Secret. I suppose my question is, if it's really that simple, why do I need to buy a book?
